Do you have a strong passion for administrative tasks, getting things done all while keeping things in order? Do you have hands-on experience from working in an administrative role? Then you might be our new Department Assistant to contribute to our ongoing efforts to run an effective sourcing unit. Position:
We are currently seeking a highly structured and detail-oriented individual to join our unit as a Department Assistant. As a Department Assistant, you will be the backbone of our unit providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the various departments in Strategic Sourcing, the central sourcing function for Product Supply. You will be working closely with our management team, securing a keen eye on our processes, and all the employees in the unit, ensuring a solid back-office approach. The job entails that you:
  • Support the management team with process heavy tasks such as hiring, reporting and other coordinating tasks in relation to scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Plan cross-functional activities such as department meetings, team building, workshops, and social events
  • Support the departments with ad hoc tasks and be the go-to person
  • Act as super user for the various accesses and systems internally
  • You will be reporting to the head of the sourcing department responsible for Distribution, Production Services & Energy, yet you will be working closely together with all 7 departments in Strategic Sourcing hence you should expect to connect with a broad range of people and activities at the same time. This position holds good opportunities for personal and professional development. Qualifications To be considered to this position it would be a plus if you have a few years of experience from an administrative position as well as:
  • Strong coordinating skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Danish and English.
  • Good IT skills - proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other similar tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and timely.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle changing deadlines
  • As a person, you are proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team. You feel committed to help and support your colleagues, and possess a sleeves-up attitude, ready to take on challenges with a can-do mindset. Lastly, you enjoy working to help and support your colleagues in a international and high-pace environment, and bring a healthy sense of humor to your work.     Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division. We are responsible for securing that we have suppliers in place that can support Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production. Through collaboration with our international supplier networks, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products that helps millions of people around the world to live with chronical diseases.
