The position As the Engineering Project Manager, you will oversee scoping, scheduling, resource and risk management, procurement, quality, EHS, and cost controls to ensure project expectations are met. Your primary focus will be to develop global processes and facilities for our Assembly and Packaging lines, collaborating with colleagues to find innovative solutions. Additionally, you will support Finished Products projects, defining solutions with the project team and suppliers. You will lead multiple high-complexity projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality control, requiring flexibility and adaptability. Other activities will include: Corporation with our development department, to ensure we can apply and develop standard components to our sites. Corporation with our vendors, to ensure they follow our schedule. Help the sites get the finished product lines solutions into operations. Ensure that our Science and risk-based validation is documented and applied in a standardised way.
The position is based in Lyngby, but international travel will be necessary to collaborate with our sites in Europe, China, Brazil, and the US. You will travel approximately 2-3 days per month and occasionally for 1-2 weeks if required. Qualifications Your experiences include: A technical degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar. 3+ years of experience within packaging and assembly lines. It is an advantage if this experience includes Science and risk-based validation knowledge from the pharmaceutical industry. Strong leadership and project management skills with experience executing projects on a global scale. Great stakeholder management skills and building relations in a global context. You are a quality-focused individual with a problem-solving approach and a passion for developing new solutions and challenging the status quo. Your visionary and innovative outlook enables you to promote process optimization and digitalization alongside colleagues. Your excellent communication skills allow you to build cross-functional and global relationships. Fluency in written and spoken English is required for this position, and proficiency in languages spoken in France and China would be advantageous as you will be working with local sites in these areas. About the department You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling-, packaging- and assembly lines across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the production facilities of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. Whilst reporting to the Senior Manager in within Intralogistics and FP, you will have the opportunity to work alongside 4-5 colleagues and 10-12 consultants helping shape the organisation. Our main goal is to develop standards that can be applied everywhere we need to expand our production facilities.
