Then this might be the position for you! We are looking for a new Senior Manager for the Project Management Office (PMO) at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S based in Køge. Read on to find out more and apply today!The position
We welcome an experienced leader with knowledge within project management in a production context. As our new Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading the project office and managing a team of experienced professionals who all are driven to execute projects through excellence in planning tasks and processes such as:
• scoping,
• scheduling,
• resource management,
• project risk management
• and cost controls.
You will be responsible for an exciting project portfolio designed to meet a growing production site in terms of employees, footprint, and production processes. PMO is leading or taking part in all related projects of strategic importance. As a natural part of the project portfolio, you will be in close dialogue with line of business and all levels of management in the organisation, as well as stakeholders on corporate level. Finally, you will engage in developing, maturing, and strengthening Project Management office ability to support the organisation by running projects efficiently executed.
We foresee a lot of exciting projects supporting our production, our R&D department, and the introduction of new products. On top of that, we are expanding with an additional production site to support the production of medicine in Novo Nordisk. It is indeed an exciting time to come and join us!QualificationsThe ideal candidate for this position can check off the following:
• A relevant Master degree and several years of experience as a people leader.
• Management experience within a highly regulated (GMP) production environment. Financial Management and/or Project Management experience would also be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with experience of working cross-functionally and building relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Analytical, holistic and with a strong interest in strategy execution through the successful completion of investment and cap cost projects.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Danish will be considered highly beneficial but not a requirement.

On a personal level, you are proactive and curious by nature. You have a structured approach to your work, and you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts optimally by keeping the larger picture in mind. Last but not least, you have a strong quality and safety mindset.
About the departmentYour new department is composed of experienced and highly qualified colleagues working diligently in support of the entire value chain, from R&D to production and Quality Control, all the way to Quality Assurance and Sales & Marketing. We support our production and laboratories with projects aiming to optimize or implement new facilities, products, improve our site IT and utility infrastructure, implementation of new digitalisation solutions.The NNPR Project Management Office (PMO) has grown significantly for the past year and today consists of a back office of Project Planners, Project Assistants, and a dedicated PPM, supporting our project managers and ensure strong collaboration external partners.
PMO handles investment projects of various sizes and scope, primarily related to full-scale production, in preparation of the production of new products to the market, refurbishment, optimisation and digitalisation of existing production facilities, laboratories and facilities in general. Last, but not least, our PMO also supports R&D with Project Portfolio Management capabilities.
