Business Analyst for Clinical Supplies Are you eager to learn about how Novo Nordisk develops and run Clinical Trials? We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for all Novo Nordisk non-clinical and clinical trials. The position As Business Analyst, your main responsibility will cover trial budgeting activities within Clinical Supplies and for local depots worldwide. You plan, execute and follow-up on the budget rolls in close collaboration with different internal stakeholders from other departments in Clinical Supplies and in Clinical Drug Development. You support colleagues with all budgeting questions, provide updated guidelines and you continuously develop and improve the budget process. Additionally, you work on various analytical tasks including contributing business analysis to the preparation of business cases within finance and sourcing. In the position there will also be some routine-based tasks such as month-end closing, prepare VAT-reporting material, and price updates. If you have experience working in a GMP environment and with handling deviations it is considered as a great advantage. As a person, three keywords for this position would be analytical, good economically understanding, and being service-minded. In this role you can strengthen your financial toolbox, use your project management skills, as well as gain a deep understanding of and strategic insights into R&D. Qualifications You hold a Master's degree in business administration, finance or equivalent. Ideally, you have 2-4 years of experience within business analysis or controlling, however, we also welcome applications from newly educated candidates with relevant experience from either student jobs or internships. To excel in this role, you:
  • have a keen eye for details and you focus on delivering high quality work while keeping the overview of deliverables and deadlines
  • have strong analytical skills with a natural ability of using data in a business context
  • enjoy working independently and you are keen to collaborate and communicate with people at all organisational levels
  • like to go into depth with tasks and be immersed in potential technical solutions
  • you are fluent in both Danish and English
  • About the department Clinical Supplies, Supply Chain Planning is a part of Clinical Supplies (CS) in CMC Development. CS is a key member of Research and Early Development (R&ED) and is vital in bringing new drugs to market. In CS we have a unique understanding of the combination of drug development, and supply chain management. Our main task is to ensure that clinical trial products are available on time and in the right quality and quantity for our patients in all clinical trials conducted by Novo Nordisk. Transparency and in-depth analysis of cost-management as well as the ability to provide information needed to ensure informed decision making is critical to us. We are responsible for the overall planning of the production, packaging, and distribution of products for all Novo Nordisk clinical trials worldwide. The open position is within the department Supply Chain Planning in CS, which consists of three teams, supporting the execution of clinical trials by forecasting/monitoring product demand, ordering product etc., planning the packaging/shipping of clinical trial products and supporting the overall trial conduct at the clinical sites with a focus on trial product related processes and systems.
