The role as Project Manager Renewables offers a great opportunity to be part of a winning team and be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our increased focus on Project Logistics and Renewables Energy. You will be a part of building up our Operational Renewables Wind Department and be part of the Maersk Project Logistics Product who desires to deliver best in class service, effective communication, cost awareness and continuous improvements, which supports our growth aspirations and the success of our customers within Renewables Project Logistics.
The position can located in : Aarhus, Rotterdam or Bilbao.
Key responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be a part of the Maersk Project Logistics product with more than 150 colleagues globally. Within the Product, you will operate in our Renewables Department, where we strive to serve our Project Logistics clients at the highest level. The department consists of 3 Operations Managers and 20 Employees doing Project Management. The position requires a strong operational mindset where experience within project logistics will be a strength.
Together with the team you will play a key role in delivering tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers in the Renewables industry while you also be a part of our accelerated growth within our segment.
Your main responsibilities will, among others, be:
- Manage and execute Projects with our Renewables customers and visit Project Locations when requirement is there
- Bring your operational mindset and capabilities to play in the team
- Be the strong communicator in a complex working environment as a Project Manager
- Execute on the Continuous improvement towards our customers
We are looking for
Our ideal candidate is innovative, self-driven person with a can-do attitude, well organized with good stakeholder management skills in a complexed environment. You strive in a collaborative role as we value our unique team and are looking for someone who shares our vision of teamwork being the backbone of all we do.
The strong candidate has:
- Proven Project Management skills and experience from Project Logistics would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in English
- Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team
- Ability to thrive in a build up atmosphere
- Ability to be flexible when needed as our job is not always 8-16
- Ability to travel approx. 30 days a year
