The role as On-Site Project Manager offers a great opportunity to be part of a winning team and be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our increased focus on Project Logistics. You will be part of a newly established Operational and Globally responsbile team who desires to deliver “Best in Class” service, Operational Excellence, Effective Communication, Cost Awareness and Continuous Improvements which supports our growth aspirations and the success of our customers within Project Logistics.
Key responsibilities
As an On-Site Project Manager, you will be a part of the Maersk Project Logistics product with more than 150 colleagues globally. Within the Product, you will operate in our Equipment & Site Services department, where we strive to serve our Project Logistics clients at the highest level. The department consists of 2 Operations Managers and 12 Project Managers. The position requires strong operationally freight forwarding skills led by a high level of communication and coordination. Together with the team you will play a key role in delivering on tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Be a part of our customers’ Project team in their Projects, leading the Logistics
- Discover, Prepare and Plan the Projects including Site visits
- Be the On-Site Supervisor while Project is executed for up to 3 months
- Be the one point of contact for our customers into the Maersk Organization
- Shut down Projects operationally and financially

You must be well organized with great stakeholder management skills in a complexed working environment. You work well with challenging situations and enjoy having project responsibility where you are responsible for the operation. We value our unique team and are looking for someone who shares our vision of teamwork being the backbone of all we do.
What you'll bring:
- Proven Project Management experience
- Experience being on site and coordination of Logistics
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in English
- Operational experience from Project Logistics or similar
- A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
- Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team
- Ability to travel up to 100 days a year
