Technology & Operations Frontend Engineering & Technology Global Offshore Support Structure Solutions
Technology & Operations (VTO) is the integrated CTO and COO organization within , encompassing the full industrial value chain — from Technology, Procurement, and Manufacturing to Supply Chain and Quality. VTO’s mission is to transform the way engineers, sources, contracts, manufactures and delivers its products to consistently meet high standards for quality, cost efficiency and time-to-market.
To ensure alignment with regional business goals, VTO operates through the Frontend Engineering & Technology (FE&T) organization. FE&T is composed of Regional Engineering & Technology (RE&T) teams led by Regional CTOs and Global Functional Leads. This organization is responsible for managing technical front-end activities within regional business units, including areas such as Technical Development Solutions, Sustainable Energy Solutions, Onshore and Offshore Wind Power Plant Solutions and Services.
As a Global Support Structure Specialist, you will be part of the FE&T organization and report directly to the Functional Lead for Global Offshore Support Structure Solutions. This global function is responsible for leading strategic initiatives and ensuring consistent practices across ’ offshore support structure engineering teams worldwide.
In this role, you will focus on enabling high-quality, cost-effective and timely offshore support structure solutions. You will:

In this role, you will focus on enabling high-quality, cost-effective and timely offshore support structure solutions. You will:
- Serve as a key technical link between central engineering teams and regional offshore support structure engineers
- Contribute to the development and deployment of tools, templates, and processes to standardize offshore support structure practices across regions
- Collaborate closely with commercial sales teams, project construction and management functions and directly with customers to deliver optimal technical solutions tailored to offshore projects
Responsibilities
As a Global Support Structure Specialist, your core responsibilities will include:
- Identify market trends and project requirements to define and implement standard processes, roles, and responsibilities that enhance efficiency across global and regional offshore support structure teams
- Formulate and maintain a strategic vision and long-term roadmap for the Global Offshore Support Structure Solutions function in alignment with organizational goals
- Lead initiatives to improve methodologies and develop engineering tools that support a harmonized and consistent approach to offshore support structure design and analysis across regions
- Evaluate and document optimization levers for tower and foundation design to enhance project value, while effectively managing technical and commercial risks
- Serve as a trusted expert and advisor within the field of offshore support structure load analysis and design, providing guidance and support to regional engineering teams
- Design and implement structured training programs and development plans to support onboarding, upskilling and continuous professional growth within the global and regional offshore support structure community
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in techno-commercial front-end roles, specifically within offshore loads and support structure design
- Prior experience in the wind energy sector
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
