As NIRAS is rapidly scaling activities within the green fuels market, you will play a key role in driving the development and execution of the project pipeline as well as help driving the further development and scaling of the process department.
You will be working very closely with a team of market and expertise directors within green energy as well as colleagues across NIRAS´ many engineering and consultancy disciplines. You will be collaborating with industry experts across NIRAS to deliver best in class projects for its customers and hence represent NIRAS externally.
Furthermore, you will be liaising with a broad range of external parties and partners, including equipment and technology suppliers on the technical specifications.
You will be taking lead on process design activities within green fuels and power-to-x and independently perform process studies, simulations of systems and configurations of varying complexity and scope.
Likewise, you will solve complex and challenging technical issues for customers within green fuels technologies and develop engineering design packages for such projects within key segments. These includes, but are not limited to green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol and syn- and biofuels.
You will be working on those types of projects from A-Z from the initial stages to execution towards implementation and evaluation. This means you will influence each part of the full lifecycle process from having an ambitious idea towards the successful construction of a chemical facility at some site. Doing this, you will constantly address the market and keep market tendencies and maturity in mind ensuring a proper adaption and relevance in each project.
With your in-depth knowledge and extensive experience, you will furthermore act as an inspiring mentor. You feel energized by sharing your knowledge and skills to further develop your colleagues’ abilities, and you feel encouraged knowing that together you conduct one strong unit.
As Senior Process Engineer your responsibilities will be:
• Taking lead on process design activities within green fuels and power-to-x.
• Performing process studies and simulations of systems and configurations of various complexity.
• Solving complex and challenging technical issues for customers within green fuels technologies and developing engineering design packages for projects within key segments, including but not limited to green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol and syn- and biofuels.
• Contributing to further development and scaling of the Green Fuels process department.
• Collaborating with industry experts across NIRAS to deliver best in class projects for its customers.
• Liaising with a broad range of external parties and partners, including equipment and technology suppliers on the technical specifications and represent NIRAS externally.
• Mentoring in terms of sharing your knowledge and skills to further develop your colleagues’ abilities and skills.
