Right now, you have a unique possibility to join Ambu as Head of Global Tax. One of your key tasks will be to facilitate an expansion of the tax department into a sound tax team of individuals, and mature the tax function and demonstrate value to the business by driving Ambu’s operating model and strategic tax direction forward.
You will work out of our headquarters in Ballerup where you will report to the Vice President, Global Finance & Accounting. You will work closely together with finance and tax professionals across different geographies, our financial shared service center, treasury, line of business and group management.
As Head of Global Tax your responsibilities will include:
• Overall tax governance and policy – design, implementation and engaging with stakeholders
• Develop our tax control framework incl. adequate process descriptions and reporting
• Identify and drive strategic tax projects forward
• Ensure accurate tax reporting according to IFRS and effective tax rate management
• Maintain and develop transfer pricing documentation
• Prepare and file tax returns for Danish companies incl. Parent
• Ensure timely reporting of tax returns in the group and other relevant filing such as transfer pricing documentation
• Coordinate and take lead on tax authority audits
• Financial tax planning and reporting of development vs. budget and forecast
• Oversee tax risk incl. development in uncertain tax positions
• Ensure adherence to other relevant legislation such as rules on tax transparency from EU, incl. country-by-country reporting and DAC 6
Key competences
To succeed in this position, you have +5 years of experience as a tax professional within the field of corporate tax, primarily from a Corporate Tax department in a multinational setting. You might have experience from a position as tax consultant or/and tax professional with the Danish Tax Authorities.
The ideal candidate finds motivation in advancing Ambu’s corporate tax department while at the same time being involved in daily operations. You have good interpersonal skills, and you communicate complicated information in a simple way.
To succeed in this job, it is important that you work in a structured way and collaborate with your colleagues building a good and trustful relationship with your stakeholders globally. You have experience with transfer pricing models incl. the principal model.
As Ambu is a global company it is essential that you have excellent English skills and that you have a global mindset in relation to both co-workers and business opportunities. Travel activities will be limited.
