The Network Execution and Capacity Platforms are building solutions to manage our network and improve our delivery times without incurring higher costs. As the Head of the Equipment Flow & Availability Platform you will define the vision for the platform and lead a cross-functional team to ideate, execute, and deliver a product roadmap to build and enhance the tools used to operate our business and ensure our customers shipments are delivered on time. The scope of our products is global, and we are looking for Product leaders who know how to build products that will scale globally and rapidly to new businesses.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision for the Equipment Flow & Availability Platform and conduct product and business process design to deliver on the vision.
- Be accountable for key outcomes in your scope and work on improvements through process (re-) design, policy changes and automation, which is implemented throughout the business.
- Lead a cross-functional team through ideating and building a roadmap of product features and process enhancements.
- Contribute to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to the product/application.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business needs, technical limitations, performance, and operational constraints.
- Communicate regularly and consistently to key stakeholders highlighting successes, hurdles and mitigation, and prioritization outcomes.
- Deploy your product and process design to the global organization and ensure adoption in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Be a strong people leader and play a significant role in developing high performing and highly engaged teams.
What you bring
You have high energy, and you want to make a success of your own scope and are passionate about creating great processes and products for our customers and operations teams.
You are a leader with a strong people focus and excel in creating clarity in ambiguous situations.
Furthermore you:
- Are an experienced manager of product managers, capable of managing complex roadmaps and working in collaboration with tech, science, UX, business, and functional leaders.
- Are passionate about using technology to improve business outcomes for our customers.
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to evaluate hypotheses and assumptions to drive decision making.
- Have a natural interest in technology, standardization, automation, and optimization of processes.
- Understand user needs and insights with an ability to translate these to digital journeys and user stories, specifically to reduce manual tasks.
- Have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and drive alignment on the product direction.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous product management experience from a top tech firm
- Experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Experience from a top consulting firm (McKinsey/BCG/Bain)
