You will join the Nilfisk Analytics team, which is responsible for building relevant data solutions to help navigate the business. As part of Nilfisk Analytics, you will gather, store and interpret data into actionable insights which offer ways to improve the business. You will be involved with all parts of the company, ranging from sales, operations & services, marketing and business development. You will help to ensure high level of data quality and accuracy, designing advanced solutions and through data story telling enable your stakeholders and / or the organization to make more data driven decisions.
The Nilfisk Analytics team consists of 3 employees, including the Director of Analytics, who you will report to and is located at the Headquarters in Broendby.

Main responsibilities
- Build relevant reports, analysis, KPIs, data models and visualisations using BI tools and MS-Office products
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets (e.g. customer churn)
- Set-up alert and monitoring systems to highlight business process challenges
- Acquire and merge data from primary or secondary data sources to broaden the data foundation
- Contribute to our data-driven product development pipeline
- Establish first machine learning models and relevant algorithms
- Help to improve data quality, accuracy and integrity in main corporate systems
- Provide analytical support throughout the company
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
A passionate problem-solver with strong analytical skills
To best succeed in this position as a Global Data Analyst, you:
- Have a MSc or equivalent in Economics, Information Management or IT
- 1-3 years of experience working as data analyst or business analyst
- Get excited to develop data-driven arguments
- Are familiar with mathematical models and statistics and eager to learn more tools and methods
- Have working knowledge about designing data models, data visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau or similar), data mining and segmentation techniques
- Basic understanding of SQL and preferably Python or R
- Enjoy to interact with other people, even though they might not share your passion to data
