Would you like to present and promote antenna modelling software used by space agencies and satellite manufacturers across the globe?
At TICRA you now have the chance to do so, as we are looking for an Application Engineer to help our customers. We have customers in the entire world including space agencies, satellite manufacturers, satellite operators as well as antenna manufacturers, research institutions and universities, that all rely on TICRA software in their work and projects.
Additionally, TICRA has in recent years expanded its portfolio of industry-standard products with new, innovative antenna modelling tools for future antenna technologies. We need the help of you as an Application Engineer to increase the awareness of our existing and new products.
Your Role
As Application Engineer, you will be part of a team that manages and further develops the international sales activities in TICRA, and that is in charge of promoting and branding TICRA software products globally. We are looking for an engineer with experience with antenna or EM modelling software and with the skills and motivation for developing, writing about, and presenting technical application cases. You will have the technical knowledge and background to understand and demonstrate our advanced software products, and the personality to talk to and work with customers and users and engage in a close dialog with them to identify their needs.
You will be a member of TICRA’s Sales and Marketing Team and will in addition collaborate with TICRA’s support team and Product Leads on application cases and technical support. The Application Engineer refers to the Head of Team of Sales and Marketing.
Your tasks will include:
• Application cases. Develop basic and advanced application cases, illustrating the use and advantages of TICRA software, and write about these in whitepapers, on LinkedIn, or produce tutorial videos.
• Product presentations and demos. Give overview presentations of TICRA software products, conduct software demos. Discuss customer projects and technical needs and match those with TICRA software solutions.
• Technical support. Contribute to the technical support of TICRA software products, helping customers to set up simulation models and using TICRA software efficiently.
• Conferences and exhibitions. Represent TICRA in the exhibition at conferences and workshops around the world, present TICRA’s software product portfolio, and conduct short software demos.
Up to 30 annual traveling days can be expected.
Your Profile
Required qualifications:
• Engineering education (M.Sc.), preferably in electrical or antenna engineering
• At least 2-3 years of experience with antenna or EM modelling software
• Experience with technical writing (reports, papers, whitepapers, or similar)
Experience with technical presentations (conferences, teaching, webinars, customer meetings, or similar)
• Outgoing and service minded personality
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Motivated to work independently as well as in teams
• Citizen of a NATO or EU member country
Desired qualifications:
• Experience with TICRA software products (GRASP, ESTEAM, CHAMP 3D, QUPES and/or POS)
• Track record of developing application examples and use cases for technical products
• Experience with an international and technical business-to-business environment
