Role
As a Data Science student assistant, you’ll be working within a team to support the gathering and interpretation of data to solve a specific problem. A data analyst also helps query, summarise, and process data. You will gather, review, examine and study data to provide useful insights into business performance.
Day to day Could look Like:
- Support the team in the delivery of various projects including dashboards/visualisations, analyses, models and business-as-usual (BAU) reporting.
- Support the team in data science projects, be hands-on and build statistical models and digital solutions to extract value and create actionable recommendations.
- Help identify valuable insights from the data into business and digital applications.
- Build relationships and partner with internal/external stakeholders, product owners and team members and drive product development plans.
Who We’re Looking For
- Passionate about a career in Technology with a strong interest in Data Science
- Studying a Technology or Mathematics related degree
- Willingness and capability to rapidly learn new technologies and tools
- Knowledge and understanding of computer programming fundamentals
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL
- Experience of preparing reports on trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data
