Key Responsibilities
As a student assistant in Asset Management Finance, you will be exposed to a broad segment of the A.P. Moeller Maersk organization including container equipment and management thereof, warehouses, cold-chain storage, and our airborne freight carrier Maersk Air Cargo. The role involves a variety of tasks centered on achieving operational excellence through performance management and forward-looking business initiatives.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Engaging in monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting on performance and drivers
- Support analysis on financials and the business in general
- Support analysis and due diligence of investment proposals
- Communicating insights and engaging with stakeholders
- Developing presentation material on financial and business performance
- Along with the team support Head of Asset Management Finance with various ad hoc analysis
Who we are looking for
To be selected for this position you must study a relevant degree within Finance or similar.
Additionally, we are looking for someone who has:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work across an organization and engage with senior stakeholders
- Strong personal impact with excellent communication skills
- Advanced skills in use of Excel and PowerPoint are a strong advantage
Since you are joining an international environment, your written and spoken English must be proficient.
