You will work with the Ocean Contract Management team in the Europe Region to manage both the ocean business and support our transformation to become the end-to-end integrator of container logistics.
As a FBP in the team, you will hold responsibility for Ocean Contract Products and partner with the European management, Product teams, and Areas on performance management.

Key Responsibilities
An integral part of the positions scope is to own the Maersk Operating System (MOS) – where the key business decisions are taken during regular weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews.
The relevant audience need to have the right material and the right insights on time for an effective decision making. This involves a wide range of stakeholders and activities across the organisation – reporting upwards in the organisation towards the Global Executive management as well as engaging with the Areas (frontline) within the Region, the Center Product Teams and the Ocean Network Product Team.
You will be a trusted business partner for the Ocean Contract Management team in the Europe Region , assuring that the drivers and levers for achieving the business targets are well understood and applied appropriately.
Other key tasks:
- Generate insights for Product and Process improvement through financial modelling and analysis
- Support Product & Functional Transformation
- Improve Ocean profitability and performance of the Ocean Market must win battles
- Own performance management in the respective teams
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration combined with experience from working as a Business Partner, or from similar roles acting as an advisor towards management and/or business stakeholders (FP&A, or similar).
You have a partnering mindset – effective stakeholder management skills and able to build effective trusted relationships, connecting with stakeholders/teams in the organization.
Furthermore you:
- Are a self-starter – able to manage the regular deliverables with the ad hoc and to identify where to invest more time for the better outcome – without requiring step by step guidance
- Have proven analytical skills, being able to zoom in on the relevant details, while never losing sight of the big picture. Conveying insights extracted from data into concise, commonly understood business language for effective decision-making. Ability to simplify and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes.
- Have a visible drive for results, inspires others to strive higher and does not bind by functional and leadership level boundaries. To succeed in our team, you would benefit from having curiosity about business processes and a growth mindset, constantly developing your talents through learning from challenges, from others and from trying new things.
- Are used to and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time
Since we are an international team, fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
