We are on the hunt for a talented Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to join our growing team. Key responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust BI solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, establishing and implementing BI solutions that provide competitive advantages.
• Drive the adoption of data-driven culture, delivering compelling visualizations and reports that empower departments to derive actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing high-standard data governance and compliance protocols.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify operational inefficiencies, market trends, and growth opportunities through data analytics.
• Leverage advanced analytics tools to create predictive models, aiding in proactive decision-making and risk mitigation.
• Stay updated with industry innovations and opportunities, ensuring Maersk Training is at the forefront of technological advancements in BI.
We are looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field; master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in a BI role, with a strong portfolio of successful BI implementation projects.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working in cross-functional teams.
• Passion for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business value.
Location can be Svendborg/ Copenhagen
