Are you experienced in conducting clinical trials within the Phase I unit? Then apply today as this is a perfect opportunity for you! Come join us and help build our new phase 1 unit CLINiC (Clinical Innovation Centre). The position You will report into CLINiC’s Head of Digitalisation & Quality and be responsible for maximising the potential of our digital eSource platform. You will work closely with the operational teams in CLINiC, as well as colleagues from Novo Nordisk’s Data Management and Digital functions. CLINiC employs one of the most modern Phase I digitalisation platforms. You will become a superuser of this system and guide CLINiC into leveraging the platform to collect the highest quality data in the most efficient manner. You will develop digital solutions to support and optimize the management of CLINiC. You will represent CLINiC’s investigational staff in relation to Data Management and Medical Coding (sponsor) medical coding, as well as to ensure alignment with Novo Nordisk’s clinical data standards. Among your daily tasks, you will:

Translate protocols into eSource/eCRF designs on the platform.

Create activity plans for the operational teams.

Provide reports for medical, scientific and operational review.

Design and optimise labels, dashboards, reports, data collection forms and workflows.

Maintain Quality Control (querying) procedures during the conduct of trials.

In collaboration with the vendor, you will also initiate functional enhancements to the system and support maintenance and upgrades of the system by programming quality control methods to ensure the ‘first time right’ principle. You will advise and guide management into further leveraging the systems capabilities as part of a continuous improvement culture. You will support and train medical and operational staff in using the system. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you can recognize yourself in the following:

Experience working within Phase 1 clinical research.

Experience in working with clinical data.

Superb analytical skills and motivated by solving problems.

Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.

About the department You will become part of our CLINiC Digitalisation and Quality department which is located in Gentofte, Denmark. The CLINiC is currently under development and will be responsible for conducting multiple clinical pharmacology trials with trials of an explorative nature, ultimately conducting First Human Dose studies. The CLINiC works closely with various partners within Novo Nordisk as well as externally across the Danish life science ecosystem. The CLINiC is part of Global Translation, where we drive all clinical development of products from early development phases to product introduction and life cycle management. Historically, all Novo Nordisk phase 1 trials have been outsourced to CROs. Looking into the future with Novo Nordisk entering new therapeutic areas, there are increased requirements for agility and early decision-making and a need to complement the current set-up with new options for early phase and exploratory development.
