Then this is a unique opportunity to join a major investment program in Novo Nordisk as Programme Engineering Director. About the department You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions factories of Novo Nordisk by leading our newly established Programme Engineering department. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 25,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 55,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology.We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. The position As Programme Engineering Director, you are part of the Leadership Team for the area and part of the Programme Management Office. You will report to the head of the Fill-Finish Expansion Programme (FFEx) PMO. You and your department will work closely with production sites and projects across the globe to standardize, design, and build the future factories of Novo Nordisk, using the concept of “design one, build many”. Furthermore, you have the overall responsibility of establishing, organizing, and managing the engineering processes across the FFEx SVP area. Your task is to establish engineering processes and standards and implement them across all the projects in the programme. Your main tasks include:
  • Responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of the programme engineering strategy
  • Directing and leading the work to set standards for efficient design
  • Establish and lead a Design & Configuration centre of excellence for standards and software
  • Responsible developing and maintaining for FFEx overall procurement strategy
  • Establish and oversee efficient and solid engineering sourcing and procurement
  • EHS Responsible for the programme, implementing safety and environmental strategies (including sustainability)
  • Responsible for ensuring and executing processes that safeguard the coherent standards across Fill & Finish Expansions
    • Qualifications Ideally, you have the following qualifications or similar:
  • Possess significant experience from leading engineering work at several projects or programmes of large-scale facilities from beginning to end
  • You are skilled at managing complex projects with a wide range of internal- and external stakeholders
  • You can understand the impact of company strategies, and actively participate in implementing these into all areas of the project
  • You provide clear goals and purpose for the entire facility area and the project team members so that the project secures effective use of time and resources and builds employee motivation
  • You have demonstrated that you can shape and execute on a strategy in a complex environment
  • Successfully led larger and complex global GxP investment projects or programmes within construction
  • Preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing process insights
    • As a person, you are an effective communication. You have developed and lead high performing teams and have the ability and experience to motivate highly skilled professionals and experts.
