Maersk offers a unique opportunity to be part of a truly global team working on optimizing, expanding, and refining the Workday and other HR Technology solutions within Maersk. You will be part of the HR Technology organization working across our Product delivery teams.
In the team we strive to be agile and move fast when needed. We want to go beyond issue diagnostics and be a proactive advisor on solutions and drive optimization of our processes and systems. Our main stakeholder is the HR organization, and we are here to support them. They come to us with global and local requirements, and we act as trusted advisors and listen and translate complex challenges to viable technical Workday solutions.
What we are looking for
Within the last year, we have migrated more than 70,000 workers from 130 countries to Maersk Workday. As we continue to grow through acquisitions, we’re looking for a passionate data professional to help us grow both our population and solution in Workday.
In the data team, we collect, process and store large and complex data sets. At the moment, our biggest activity is supporting the migration of new populations to Workday. The legacy sources and solutions can be many, so part of what we do is to provide guidance on data requirements, receive or retrieve data sets, map to Maersk Workday solution, and finally load via EIBs, validate data and support go-lives. You can expect other exciting tasks to come as we grow as a team and take on new priorities and projects.
Across the HR Tech team, we share knowledge and learnings with each other, and we strive to continuously improve and strengthen our solutions, our data, and our performance.
Much of our work we are looking to automate where possible, and we are looking for expertise in helping on this journey as well. Within automation you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and processes to streamline and improve as well as identifying processes and opportunities for automation, collaborating across HR and HR Technology teams to identify and improve.
You will also be working with incidents and tickets connected to data and automation, resolving problems and errors in both data and automated scripts and systems.

Who are you?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data specialist, automation engineer
- Experience working in HR technology and with one of the leading HCM platforms, preferably Workday
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, testing strategies, and deployment processes
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to detail: have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy to ensure that automated systems, processes and data are functioning and validated for purpose.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
