Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated supply chain designer to join our newly formed Energy Transition Innovation & Partnership organization that is shaping and maturing the customer solutions of tomorrow. As a Senior Decarbonization Solution Designer, you will analyze customer supply chains, identify opportunities and create innovative solutions to decarbonize logistics for our customers. Reporting into the Head of Solution Design, you will have a direct impact in driving positive change in the industry, while delivering the success of our Integrator Strategy.
As a Senior Decarbonization Solution Designer, you will develop integrated logistics solutions of today and tomorrow that substantially reduce the carbon footprint from our customer’s supply chain. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing data, developing decarbonization strategies, managing projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive positive environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Data Analysis and Modelling:
- Collect and analyze supply chain, identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in terms of decarbonization.
- Identify customer-specific and industry-wide opportunities to reduce carbon impact through network optimization, modal shifts and shift to low carbon intensity media for transportation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess the viability and impact of potential decarbonization projects.
- Design and manage the tools and templates for conducting such analysis
Project Management:
- Work closely with extended team to develop project plans, define project objectives, establish timelines, and support project governance framework.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process improvement, new analysis and sharing best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with customers and facilitate effective communication to gain support and alignment.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to explore collaborative opportunities.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on the progress, achievements, and impacts of decarbonization initiatives within the supply chain.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and best practices to key stakeholders, including senior management, to drive awareness and decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging practices in supply chain decarbonization and share relevant insights with the team.
- Act as a subject matter expert on specific decarbonization topics, providing guidance and thought leadership to internal teams.
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Sustainability, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Expert in supply chain design principles and processes.
- Proven experience in supply chain analysis including network optimization, greenfield analysis, preferably in supply chain consulting environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and initiatives in supply chain management.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically and strategically.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and network optimization software.
- Comfortable with 30% international travel annually and flexible working hours
