As a Research Associate Scientist in the Research Bioanalysis Department, you will thrive in a role that spans multiple responsibilities. Under the guidance of senior scientists, you will pioneer new analytical methods based on advanced ligand binding technologies like LOCI, ELISA, MSD, and Gyrolab. Not only will you gain in-depth expertise in these analytical platforms, but you will also be introduced to scripting and working with automated liquid handlers.
Your daily operations will encompass hands-on sample analyses, contribution to scientific meetings, project support, and collaborating with stakeholders and technology providers to elevate the department's capabilities. Your key responsibilities will include: Engaging in hands-on laboratory work to develop and implement innovative analytical methods. Being proficient across all analytical platforms offered by the department. Cultivating a profound understanding of the research projects you support through sample analysis. Demonstrating a deep comprehension of antibody-antigen interactions. Delivering presentations to collaborators, as well as team and department members. Pioneering bioanalytical method characterization and exploring novel instruments and techniques. Qualifications
Our ideal candidate would possess a master’s degree in life sciences, engineering, biochemistry, or a related field with a proven publication track record from an academic institution or a minimum of two years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Take honor in scrutinizing, reporting, and presenting data. Possess experience in quantifying protein and gene expression in blood or tissues. It is considered an advantage to possess coding experience in languages like Python and expertise in programming liquid handlers. About the Department
The Department of Research Bioanalysis is situated within Global Research Technology in Maaloev, Denmark, and is at the forefront of analyzing peptides and proteins in biological samples from animals (primarily plasma) and cell cultures. The data form the foundation for PK-profiling and the assessment of pharmacological effects of novel compounds. Our department offers support during the early research phase across various indications, including diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. We are commitment to expand the use of automated analytical instruments and IT tools for sample and data management, which is required to refining workflows that span multiple departments.
