In this interesting role as an Investment Analysis partner you will help the organisation to focus on Strategic Technology Investments that enable the Integrator Strategy.
The role helps to drive organisational accountability by:
- Ensuring the Technology Investment Framework is designed to run effectively and facilitates the Platform Operating Model
- Striving to uphold the Governance and Maersk Investment Analysis standard for Technology Investments within a complex matrix organisation structure and broad stakeholder landscape.
- Helping to connect the benefits from our Technology investments to the Budget/Business Plans
- Creating transparency and helping to provide visibility of our transformation progress to the quarterly Enterprise Change Review (ECR) to facilitate quality discussions and decisions. The outcome is to ensure the ECR Board (ELT) make investment and prioritization decisions based on data.
Ideally you will be based in Copenhagen – but for the right candidate other locations will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
One of your main areas will be to co-design/adapt the Technology Investment Framework to be fit for purpose at all times.
You will work closely with the ECOS lead to tie the Technology Investment Framework to the Enterprise Change Operating System and work with various stakeholders in the organisation to ensure the “end-to-end” design works – connects with upstream and downstream processes.
Furthermore, you will help to define how we create transparency on quality and progress of our Tech Investments to the ELT as well as ensuring finance processes and standards in relation to Tech Investments are upheld.
You will also work with Centre and Regional finance teams to facilitate the connect of Tech Investments to Budget/Business Plan submissions.
What are we looking for
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in finance or economics; combined with relevant work experience from finance positions in investment analysis, financial performance management or finance business partnering, with a flair for Technology.
You have strong Business Partnering skills, an analytical mind-set and good problem-solving skills.
Furthermore you:
- Have good planning and execution skills, ensuring effective and timely delivery
- Have the ability to analyze and present large amounts of information in a manner that is clear, concise and actionable
- Are proactive and capable of working in a result-oriented environment, where you will be interacting with a lot of senior stakeholders
- Are self-driven and motivated
- Have the ability to work independently and able to influence without formal authority
- Uses judgement and takes initiative
- Are good at communicating with and influencing stakeholders
- Thrive in an environment of ambiguity and structured chaos
