Then come join our Early Clinical Pharmacology area and take a brand-new role heading up Early Clinical Pharmacology Operations. About the area and the position Early Clinical Pharmacology is an area in Research and Early Development. As an integrated part of Global Translation, we are scientifically and operationally responsible for designing, planning and executing early Clinical Pharmacology studies in new and exciting therapeutic areas across the Novo Nordisk portfolio. The area consists of engaged and highly skilled colleagues working in a flexible, and cross-functional setting. We collaborate and share knowledge to benefit each other and ultimately the patients. Our area is expanding, and we are looking for great people with different competencies and experience levels. As a Head of Early Clinical Pharmacology Operations, you will head up a team of skilled and dedicated trial managers and clinical trial administrators supporting the planning, execution, and completion of our early clinical trials. You will be reporting to and collaborating closely with the Head of Early Clinical Pharmacology. In the job you will: • Collaborate with many internal and external stakeholders. • Support the development of operational competencies internally. • Challenge the early clinical pharmacology operational procedures. • Have an excellent opportunity to increase your competencies within people management while contributing to building fit-for-purpose processes and procedures. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with these qualifications: • MSc. degree in Life Sciences combined with experience in drug development and clinical trials within the pharmaceutical industry. • Excellent people skills and leadership experience either as a team leader or project manager. • Solid cross-functional understanding and experience with engaging stakeholders across a complex organisational set-up. As a person, you are open-minded and keen on learning continuously. You have outstanding organizational skills with exceptionally high attention to quality, stakeholder management, and a track record of results. Your strong values and interpersonal skills give you the ability to inspire, motivate and develop people and teams. You thrive in a changing and dynamic work environment and have a can-do attitude with the ability to prioritize, execute and follow up in a proactive and timely manner. You are a team player and a strong collaborator across the organization. You have strong communication skills in English – both verbally and in writing.
