We are looking for a talented Project Manager who strives in an international environment, working together with the industry’s best and brightest. You’ll be joining Demant Diagnostics, which is a global unit handling various tasks across the Group companies, within areas such as quality, development, mechanics, software, and operations.
Demant Diagnostics has a clear growth strategy, and the PMO is dedicated to ensuring that our project organization can support this strategy. We continuously develop and adapt our methods within project management and product development. This currently includes re-design of our development model to frame the development within hardware, software, and mechanics, combining the methods from the agile toolbox with the more traditional “waterfall” project management disciplines. We always see the projects we lead as part of a greater portfolio and support the organization in ensuring resource allocation to the most important projects in the portfolios, enabling stability, visibility, and progress.
You will report to the manager of the PMO where we currently are four project managers. Your projects will have different nature, complexity, and length. In this position you will:
You will report to the manager of the PMO and have three project manager colleagues. Your projects will be of different nature, complexity, and length both within new product development and product care. Your project teams will consist of people from many parts of the company: Product management, mechanics, hardware, software, quality, regulatory, production and more. We are an international company, and you will be leading projects for all brands in the Demant Diagnostics group with headquarters located in Denmark, Germany, US, UK e.g. You will take the lead on your projects by creating the overview of the tasks and the dependencies, setting the targets, and ensuring motivation and progress. Together with your PMO colleagues and in cooperation with relevant stakeholders you will continuously develop and refine our methods to best fit our organization.
Most importantly you can motivate teams, and you are confident in taking the lead. You know how to navigate at all levels in an international organization. Therefore, we see some years of experience within project management as a requirement. In the PMO we aim to strengthen our capability within software project management and methods. Thus, experience in leading software development projects or a background within software development will be an advantage though not a requirement.

The job:

- take the lead of your projects by creating the overview of the tasks and the dependencies, setting the targets, and ensuring motivation and progress.
- work closely together with your project manager colleagues and get sparring to execute the projects in the best way.
- use the chosen / developed project management tools and you will help continuously developing and refining the methods to best fit our organization.
