The Position If you have a passion for driving change and leading a team to success in clinical trial administration, we would like to hear from you! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Trial Administration Manager (CTA Manager) to join our team. The Position As a CTA manager you will be responsible for a team of dedicated and highly engaged CTAs. The team is part of the Clinical Development Centre Denmark (CDC DK). The team is the administrative support to execution of trials in the CDC DK. The team is situated in Ørestaden, Denmark where we will expect you to be located as well, as you will be part of the leadership team. You will be reporting into the Director of CDC DK. The main responsibility will be managing the CTA team in relation to setting direction in close collaboration CDC DK management team and Adjacent Affiliates (nine countries working in the CDC DK).
  • People manager role; Budget, team activities, people development, 1:1s
  • Oversee and manage the clinical trial administration process from start to finish
  • Lead and motivate a team of clinical trial administrators to meet project timelines and deliverables
  • Implement change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including CROs, and regulatory agencies
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of clinical trial administration
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience
  • You will be working close together with a lot of different stakeholders. Among others would be Quality, Innovation and Implementation in the CDC, Clinical colleagues in Headquarter and in the Affiliates. Qualifications
  • Life sciences degree, ideally with a post graduate qualification in research
  • The ability to speak and write fluent English
  • A minimum of three years' experience as manager in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with the recruitment, training, development, remuneration, performance appraisal and performance management of a team.
  • Experience/knowledge of conducting clinical trials in accordance with ICH-GCP
  • About the Department The Clinical Development Centre Denmark is responsible for managing back-office activities, such as project management and administrative tasks on clinical trials across nine countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland).
