Want a job with real impact? Apply now and join us! The position We are looking for Medical Doctor with interest in Medical Affairs and liver diseases. You will be part of an area of highly motivated and talented Medical Doctors with clinical, research and pharmaceutical experience, who are passionate about therapy area development, drug development, communication, medical and scientific education. We offer the opportunity for you to use your medical experience, your analytical skills and your creativity towards new innovative treatments that will make a difference for people suffering from serious chronic diseases. As part of the position, you will be expected to use your skills to provide timely, accurate and credible scientific and medical input for a variety of projects. Your tasks will include: Give medical input to clinical trial development and drive the scientific dialogue in trial related activities Identify relevant external collaborators, gather input, initiate the scientific dialogue in the global scientific community and engage with various key opinion leaders (KOLs) Support the development of a Global Publication Plan and later drive the development of publications Advise and drive the development of internal and external medical guidance and educational materials, as well as present data both internally and externally and participate in international conferences and scientific meetings Close collaboration and effective communication with various cross-functional stakeholders including colleagues from clinical development, regulatory, marketing, market access, safety, and other functional areas You should expect international travel of approximately 10% every year. Qualifications To be successful in this position, you need the following: A medical degree Several years of clinical and/or research experience Former experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or within non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and liver diseases is an advantage Fluent in professional English On a personal level, you are ambitious, innovative, strong communicator that is scientifically driven and with a high quality-mindset. You are extrovert, have a personal drive and strong interpersonal skills. You should be able to successfully solve problems and maintain a positive attitude in a constantly changing, highly complex environment. About the department
The department is a part of the Global Medical Affairs organisation, which is in Copenhagen, Denmark. In Global Medical Affairs we are responsible for developing the medical strategy and tactical plans, gathering medical insights for the organisation, collaborating with KOLs, developing scientific communication and medical education. We focus on working with engagement, respect, and a good and open atmosphere. We focus on learnings through a workday with interesting tasks and on personal development. You will be part of a dedicated team working with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. The team is focusing on planning and driving scientific engagement, education, and communication, with key internal stakeholders, commercial and clinical development, as well as a high level of engagement with the external scientific community.
