The position As our Senior Scientific Publications Manager, you will take part in strategic planning and execution of our publications. Your expertise in scientific communication will play a vital role in disseminating research findings, driving global scientific advancements, and enhancing the scientific dialogue. Success in this role is contingent upon your ability to combine your knowledge and experience with outstanding interpersonal skills. Your key responsibilities: Develop publication strategies and execute publication plans Formulate budgets and timelines, while overseeing vendors to ensure successful target delivery Collaborate closely with external healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and internal stakeholders throughout the organisation Explore and enable the use of innovative formats like infographics, podcasts, and videos, leveraging diverse channels including our scientific exchange platform and social media, as well as employing Multi Channel Engagement tactics Ensure adherence to ethical and transparency standards and guidelines as an ambassador for Good Publication Practice Demonstrate leadership by independently undertaking senior tasks and deliverables, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation In addition to the above, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Scientific Publications to strategically plan and deliver comprehensive training and guidance for both the team and internal stakeholders. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. Qualifications We expect you to have: A master’s degree in any relevant field Publications management/scientific communications experience in pharma, publishing, medical communications or similar Background in project management along with solid stakeholder management skills Interest in ethics of scientific communication Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new ways of conveying science, including novel formats, emerging channels, and strategies to effectively connect them all Fluency in written and spoken English At a personal level, your ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances in a developing environment are vital. We are seeking an individual who possesses a forward-looking mindset and a penchant for innovation to drive the development and enhancement of publication planning processes. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, leading to successful outcomes, are integral to this role. About the department The Scientific Publications team is anchored in Global Medical Affairs (GMA), responsible for publishing scientific research across all drug development phases. We are looking for publication professional to join the Scientific Publications team in the company headquarters in Søborg (Copenhagen), Denmark.
