The Position You will play a key role in the team and the area, contributing to strategic decisions for both the team and projects, and representing the director as needed. Your responsibilities will involve collaboration with various global functions and areas, advocating for the needs of patients and healthcare professionals within our projects. Leveraging your extensive expertise, you will operate independently, leading strategic discussions and decision-making processes for CagriSema, a promising once-weekly GLP-1/amylin analogue currently in phase 3 development for weight management and soon for type 2 diabetes. This role will offer you opportunities to contribute to publication and communication plans, engage with thought leaders in the field, and make a significant impact on the future of diabetes treatment. The position will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark. In alignment with our Circular for Zero policy worldwide travel could be expected. Qualifications The perfect candidate is required to be a Medical Doctor (MD) with clinical experience and minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably within Medical Affairs. In addition to the above, we are looking for a candidate who: Proficiently navigates complex situations and organizations while excelling as a cross-functional collaborator Is an analytical and swift thinker, recognized for proactive problem-solving and impactful decision-making Demonstrates the ability to embrace diverse perspectives, fostering teamwork and seeing the best in individuals Possesses strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey intricate scientific information Fluently communicates in both written and spoken English About the Department You will be joining a group of enthusiastic, engaged, and highly skilled colleagues with diverse personal and professional backgrounds, including extensive clinical, research, and pharmaceutical expertise. The team is involved in various projects at different stages of development and is uniquely positioned to provide clinical and medical input to projects, ranging from early-stage pipeline developments to those closer to launch.
