Gubra is looking for a bioanalysis scientist to support our contract research organization (CRO) and drug discovery projects. In this role you will use LC-MS to quantify drugs (small molecules and peptides), metabolites and biomarkers in tissue, blood, and plasma from our studies in rodents and minipigs.
The Drug Profiling department supports the CRO with bioanalysis for in vivo pharmacology experiments. Furthermore, we support internal drug discovery & development projects by delivering physicochemical characterization, early formulation development, analytical support, and PKPD analysis for novel peptide drug candidates. We are currently 5 scientists and 4 laboratory technicians in the department.
You have a strong interest in ESI-LC-MS(MS) analysis of peptides and small molecules. You are technologically savvy, inventive, and flexible and you value collaboration with your skilled colleagues. You take pride and ownership for delivering high quality data, are organized and thrive when working independently.

As bioanalysis scientist in Drug Profiling, your tasks will include:
- LC-MS method development for small molecules and peptides
- Sample preparation and analysis of plasma and tissue samples
- Quantification of analytes by SRM using ESI-LC-MS(MS) and quality assessment
- Delivery of drug exposure and pharmacokinetics data to CRO costumers, internal and partnered projects
- Stakeholder management and day-to-day planning and guidance of laboratory tasks
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment and performance monitoring
Professional qualifications
- PhD or M.Sc. with 1-2 years relevant experience in bioanalytical chemistry/biochemistry
- Hands-on experience with plasma bioanalysis, LC-MS and assay optimisation
- Quality conscious and organized
- A desire to develop as an expert in LC-MS
