Back-end Developer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. You will collaborate with front-end developer, Editors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Back-end Developer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. You will collaborate with front-end developer, Editors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Take part of a major upcoming transformation and upgrade of the entire platform to .NET CORE and Optimizely CMS 12 and improve the e-commerce checkout flow
- Design, develop, and maintain the back-end of the web applications. Large multimarket e-commerce solution on Optimizely CMS
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Develop and implement efficient and secure APIs for seamless data exchange
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise in the back-end systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to define and implement new features and functionalities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in back-end development
- Interact and collaborate with 3rd party integration services
- Part of technical decision making and architecture going forward
- Own responsibilities within the technical Optimizely platform
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as .NET (c#) is must
- Experience with Optimizely (EPiServer) is preferred otherwise experiences in Sitecore/Umbraco and quick to adapt to Optimizely.
- Experience with web, .net framework and .NET Core
- Experience with API and integrations
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling
- Understanding of security and data protection best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- An Optimizely CMS + Commerce certification is preferred but not a must.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- experience with large e-commerce solutions
- Familiar with Azure services and hosting on Azure.
