Job Description
As our new project engineer you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing various projects from inception to completion.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Determine project resource requirements, including equipment, materials, and time estimation for the project to meet project milestones
- Manage the technical process for a customer specific solution - development, design, dimensioning, risk management and calculation of hydraulic systems, primarily for the industry segment
- Provide technical expertise, reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with Machine Directive (CE).
- Support the sales department throughout the entire project process from the early sketches in the quotation phase until the finished system is tested and handed over to the customer
- Hydraulic design including fluid diagrams in AutoCAD
- Technical support to Sales, Service, and customers
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, suppliers and customers
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor level degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge in hydraulics and automation that you have acquired either through practical experience or theoretical training. A recent graduate may also be our new colleague
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to details.
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Electrification is an advantage – switching between hydraulic and electric solutions (Megatronic)
- You can communicate in English both oral and written. Another Nordic language is an advantage
- Effective communication- and collaboration skills
- You can maintain and develop long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
