Our Group Legal & Compliance Team
As a legal intern you will become part of the Danish Group Legal & Compliance team consisting of 16 highly skilled and motivated colleagues.
Our global legal team counts a total of 45 colleagues around the world, including USA, Poland, France, Canada and Australia, who are all dedicated to help the business succeed.
You will also become part of the Demant Student Network, which is a network for students across functions and business units that organizes both professional and social events to foster an inclusive and cohesive student community.
The Job
As Legal Intern you will undertake challenging and varying tasks in support of our deliveries to reach strategic goals and the day-to day operations of the global Demant organization, and you will work with colleagues across all business units and all affiliates.
You will primarily support the Group Legal & Compliance Team, and most of your tasks will be related to our Business Ethics Compliance program.
Your main tasks will be:
The workload will be approximately 15-20 hours a week (we envision one day a week at the Demant head office in Smørum and possibility to work the rest of the hours from home) with flexibility in relation to your studies.

- Legal & compliance research
- Various occurring legal tasks
- Assistance with sanctions screenings
- contract reviews
- E-learning distribution
- Whistleblower investigations
- Assistance with business ethics compliance housekeeping
- PowerPoint presentations
- Tasks related to our trade compliance program
- Working with the network of business ethics champions across the Demant group.

Professional and personal qualifications:
- We are looking for a candidate who:
- Finalized a minimum of 3 semesters of study for a degree in Law or in Business Administration & Commercial Law.
- Has an interest in business ethics compliance and sustainability.
- Has good communication skills in English – both written and verbal.
- Has the ability to work structured and independently.
- Is open and out-going in nature.
- Is a team player.
