The Position As Senior Manager, Public Affairs, your goal is to strengthen the role of public affairs across International Operations (IO) and provide guidance, concepts and tools for the seven IO Regions in terms of prioritising and grasping opportunities for disease awareness, advocacy, and development of strong stakeholder relationships. The key responsibilities are: Driving excellence and capabilities in the public affairs function across IO Applying the Global Public Affairs Strategy in local contexts in conjunction with IO Regions and affiliates Overseeing project management of IO-wide initiatives and activities within obesity, leveraging partnerships, patient relations, thought leadership, digital and policy Developing localisable messaging and activities in conjunction with Global Public Affairs in diabetes and other chronic diseases including cardiovascular Internal and external stakeholder relations at senior levels Qualifications The preferred candidate holds a university degree in business, political science or a related field, in combination with 3+ years of international, senior level professional experience. Your career to date should include a track record of shaping, building and driving an impactful public affairs agenda from a corporate perspective, with experience within healthcare as a plus. Moreover, You are an outstanding communicator in both written and spoken English You are a strong project manager who can create engagement and followership You possess a proven track record in building credibility with external and internal stakeholders at all levels You find creative solutions to even the most complex of problems and thrive in developing novel approaches to shake things up About the Department As a key driver of Novo Nordisk’s future growth, and covering seven regions including over 190 countries, Novo Nordisk International Operations (IO) is a dynamic environment that offers a world of opportunities.
