We are currently looking for an experienced, self-driven Corporate Communications Manager with excellent English skills (both written and spoken) and a passion for driving high impact corporate communication in an international setting.
As our Corporate Communications Manager, you will have a central role with direct access to senior management while you collaborate and network with the global VIKING organisation.
You will be part of a dedicated team at the head office in Esbjerg with reference to VP, People & Organization. It is our job to support the VIKING organisation with top quality work and we live by the VIKING values - committed, responsible and globally oriented.
Your primary responsibilities:
- Develop and lead Corporate communication strategies that support implementation of strategic business projects and larger change initiatives e.g. Sustainability, ESG report, Employer Branding and Business Plans.
- Executive support and communication as the project lead for CEO and Sr. Management in developing corporate materials, presentations and internal announcements
- Navigate and handle issue management working closely with relevant internal functions
- Drive internal and external communications activities and develop materials for annual results
- Support and advise the organisation in communication matters
- Planning and content for the employee magazine LifeLines
- Content manager for VIKING intranet
- Support internal events and employer branding activities
Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate has minimum 4 years’ experience at either a PR agency, an in-house Corporate Communications team, or possibly as a journalist. You have experience from a global organisation and have the ability to network and navigate at all levels and cultures. You have strong project management and execution skills with a high attention to quality and detail. Also, your flair for visual and graphic communication demonstrated through excellent Powerpoint presentations, is important in this role. Last but not least you hold an academic degree in a relevant field and speak and write fluent English and Danish.
