Communication Specialist for internal communication in Global IT
Are you a professional communicator, who can plan and produce relevant and compelling storytelling across channels – whether written, visual, or verbal? Can you ensure transparency in what we do and enhance collaboration across teams and across the globe?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you: To be responsible for running and ensuring the continuous improvement of internal communication in Global IT.
Independent role with two focus areas
In the role, you will have a link to Group Corporate Communication who owns the company core narrative, brand strategy and branding guidelines. In Global IT you will be an individual contributor, and it will be your responsibility to develop objectives and key results for Global IT communication aligned with the business goals – in close collaboration with the Global IT leadership team.
Global IT communications has two focus areas:
Internal communication: To foster knowledge sharing and increase sense of belonging.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Global IT communication plan and coordinating the annual wheel with communication activities. You must ensure effective communication tactics, processes, and tools, and you will monitor the internal IT communications channels such as the Global IT SharePoint portal, Workplace, newsletter and townhalls.
Additionally, you will execute external employer branding activities in collaboration with HR Talent Acquisition, including attending external job fairs and creating LinkedIn presence for IT related content.
Project communication: To enhance understanding of direction and outcomes.
On ad hoc basis you will support decision-making and facilitate change by providing strategic technology implementations with change management and communication. You will provide the stakeholder analysis, develop the communication plan, and produce the content.
Your qualifications
We expect that you can consolidate complex ideas into a compelling and engaging story. To succeed, you must possess English proficiency; you know your grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions. You pay attention to details when you are writing, editing, or proofreading, you are committed to high-quality work, and you take pride in keeping your content organized and structured.
You enjoy making presentations; and you can create professional, engaging, and effective presentations in PowerPoint. You can develop concepts; you know which communication channels to use when and how, and you have a good eye for visual communication.
You have a genuine interest in understanding the organization and colleagues with different background and location, and you get motivated by proactively taking responsibility for communication projects as well as performing various supportive, operational, and administrative tasks.
You are a self-starter and always one step ahead in planning, and you have a strategic mindset with a hands-on mentality.
Your background
Currently you might find yourself working in a similar role in another global company. It would be great if you have some years of communications experience specifically within technology, and/or you have experience within management consulting.
Additional to your experience you have a relevant bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, probably in communication or journalism. Or maybe you have become a Master of Communications in another way?

You'll be part of our team IT Management Office where we are supporting the Global IT Leadership Team in various ways. Besides communication, our key areas are Executive Support, Strategy and Operating Model, IT Finance and Analytics, Vendor and Contract Management, and Project- and Portfolio Management. As a team we value trust, collaboration, learning together, and having fun.
You'll report to the Senior Director of the IT Management Office and collaborate closely with the Global IT Leadership Team. In Global IT we are around 600 people.
You'll be based at our corporate headquarters in Smørum on the outskirts of Copenhagen.
