The position We are seeking an Event Project Manager for the Development Digital Transformation Office (DTO) to help bring the story of our digital transformation to life and bring the digital community and line of business closer together. Key tasks for this role include: Support the Comms. Manager with the implementation of our Development Digital Transformation core story by bringing digital players and line of business closer together.
First major assignment is a first-of-its-kind Development Digital Day conference in the beginning of 2024, where digital players and end-users from across Development come together for dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and inspiration.
Manage the event portfolio for the DTO – from purpose to concept, from budgeting to coordination, from stakeholder mgmt. to promotion, and from execution to evaluation.
Developing new value-adding event concepts and building upon the existing setup, in close collaboration with key digital players, end-users, and the digital comms. network.
Initially, the project manager will focus on managing events but over time, there will be an opportunity to expand the portfolio to cover additional comms. or coordination related areas while still maintaining events as the primary focus.
Managing a wide range of stakeholders within Novo Nordisk and externally
You will be part of the DTO Communications Team, referring to the Communications Manager. This team is responsible for boosting the sense of a digital community and ensuring engagement and understanding around our digital aspirations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in project mgmt., event planning, comms. or related field.
At least 3 years of track record experience as a project manager and/or event planner – preferably in a corporate environment.
A strong networker with solid stakeholder management experience.
Experience driving several projects at the same time and taking a methodological approach to, among other, coordination tasks.
Proven experience in budget planning & management.
Strong communication skills and professional efficiency in English.

The Digital Transformation area in Development is a newly created CVP-area of app. 30 people providing strategic leadership for our Digital Transformation strategy across the Development organisation. In collaboration with Digital teams in SVP areas across Development, the Digital Transformation area will identify new opportunities for utilising data and digital solutions for the benefit of patients as well as our organisation. The Digital Transformation area will manage execution and prioritization of digital activities and ensure initiatives are coordinated and staffed appropriately across the organisation. In Development we strive to deliver best-in-class, innovative treatment solutions to the benefit of patients. We are responsible for managing development and approval of new drugs and devices worldwide, from early development phases to product launch and beyond. We provide medical and scientific expertise and documentation for authorities and decisions makers broadly, while ensuring that the process lives up to global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
