Job description

We produce and install countertops in natural stone, quartz composite and sintered stone, in private homes and on larger projects across the Eastern part of Norway. We have seperate teams of production workers and installers, and are now looking for another person in our factory, who will work in team with another 6 people.

We have a modern production facility set up in 2015, with highly automated machines and an efficient production line. We are mainly looking for someone who can work with manual finish on countertops and other products, including polishing, instalment of sinks, finalization of more complex products (e.g. furniture), incl. 45° joints.

Scan Granitt AS is experiencing increased activity, and is looking for a new positive employee with focus on precision and high quality.

Skills

Experience from similar type of work is an advantage, preferably with the same type of products, but not an absolute requirement.

You must be willing to learn and have an ambition to become an independent, efficient and accurate production worker in the long run. The work requires millimeter precision and a high degree of attention to details. You will be given the required training, both in theory and in practice.

You need to speak English and it is further an advantage if you also speak Norwegian although that is not a requirement.

Working hours

We are looking for a person who can work 7.5 hours per day, five days per week on morning and evening shifts (06.00 to 22.00), or on rotation (eg. 2 weeks work and 1 week off).

Start date 01.10.2023 or to be agreed.

Salary NOK 210 - 230 per hour.

Other information

We are located only 5 minutes from Torp airport, with easy access to many European cities. We can help with renting a room in an apartment close to the factory.
