Lithium Balance develops Li-ion battery management systems (BMS) to control and monitor the increasingly powerful and complex batteries in the green energy sector of the future.

Lithium Balance has been part of [xxxxx] Technologies since 2021 and is on an exciting growth journey. [xxxxx] Technologies is one of the world's leading suppliers of sensing, electrical protection, control and power management solutions with operations and business centers in 12 countries. We will move to a new location in Herlev close to train station and Letbane around mid-April 2024.

As part of these exciting developments, we are seeking a quality manager to manage and mature the tactical quality assurance processes at Lithium Balance in relation to quality assurance and our clean energy journey.

You will lead the quality team members, and the quality agenda together with the management team, stakeholders and reporting team successes and opportunities to the Director of Quality Assurance and Development.General Responsibilities
• Manages the sharing and implementation of best practices across all business units
• Responsible for the activities of the Quality Management System
• Responsible for time management and operational support
• Manages and produces Quality Assurance measures and metrics which report any trends or process improvement opportunities for each project
• Manages the training and other required activities for the department

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sharing and implementation of best practices across all business units
  • Responsible for the activities of the Quality Management System
  • Responsible for the activities of the Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)
  • Manages and produces Quality Assurance measures and metrics which report any trends or
  • process improvement opportunities for each project
  • Core Tools such as SPC/MSA/PFMEA/PPAP/APQP
  • Ability to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems – strong problem-solving skills (8D/5Why/Fishbone/Minitab)
  • Minimum of 3 Years of working experience in quality functions, and good knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO 9000 / TS16949 / VDA 6.3).
  • Responsible for the activities of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Core Tools - Handling PPAP, supplier inspection, and quality requirements using AIAG manual: APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP and SPC
  • Involvement in product development and customer quality claims.
  • Produces Quality Assurance measures and metrics which report any trends or process.
  • Perform internal audits and lead improvement opportunities.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent relevant work experience from the electronic industry.
  • Experience with Quality procedure, standards, and specification.
  • Knowledge of 8D Methodology, complains and warranties.
  • Strong communication skills; both internal and external both oral and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills, with focus on cooperation and knowledge sharing.
