Product Manager to take ownership of our Shadow Board concept - New role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Product Manager with a commercial focus to take full ownership of our Shadow Board concept. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the product and design processes for Shadow Boards, ensuring its success in the market.
You will be part of an exciting journey with a well-run organisation that has a clear strategy for growth. As Product Manager for Shadow Boards, you will get an important role in ensuring that Vikan maintains and develops our position as the preferred supplier and partner in the market where hygiene is important. We can see a very promising market for the product and are looking for the right person to take ownership for the further development and growth of this business area.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Background with technical and commercial experience
You have relevant education and experience with design, boards, sign companies or similar. Maybe you have a background in the graphics/serigraphics industry or similar.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills and an excellent project manager
You deliver quality and make others do the same. You have an eye for details, but always see the big picture in task solutions and ensure relevant stakeholders are involved.
You are goal oriented, independent, and proactive. You are able to identify opportunities for improvement and potential. Your approach to other people is positive and flexible and you are able to navigate at all levels in the organisation as well as with customer and suppliers. Your quality level is high, and you are determined to reach Vikan's level in all processes. With your determination and flexibility, you provide the necessary effort to ensure the result.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Product Manager with a commercial focus to take full ownership of our Shadow Board concept. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the product and design processes for Shadow Boards, ensuring its success in the market.
You will be part of an exciting journey with a well-run organisation that has a clear strategy for growth. As Product Manager for Shadow Boards, you will get an important role in ensuring that Vikan maintains and develops our position as the preferred supplier and partner in the market where hygiene is important. We can see a very promising market for the product and are looking for the right person to take ownership for the further development and growth of this business area.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Ensure that tools and IT systems are well aligned with and support the core Shadow Board business processes
- Develop efficient design processes/tools and conduct internal training
- Work closely with cross functional teams, including design, engineering and sales, to ensure timely delivery of high quality products that meet customer needs and expectations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that drive customer adoption and growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Shadow Board concept, aligning it with the overall company vision and goals
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends, and leverage this knowledge to drive product developments and stay ahead of the curve
Background with technical and commercial experience
You have relevant education and experience with design, boards, sign companies or similar. Maybe you have a background in the graphics/serigraphics industry or similar.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a data driven mindset
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management
- 3-5 years experience in product management, with a strong focus on software/IT related tools
- Graphical understanding and knowledge of graphic design tools
- Good understanding of printing technologies
- Process development
- English in speech and writing
