The position As Patient Insights Specialist, you will play a vital role in the development of our internally built digital health solutions within therapy areas such as Obesity, Diabetes, Growth Disorders, etc. Your primary tasks will be:
  • Driving continuous product discovery and feedback
  • Conducting user experience research and pretotype / prototype / product tests
  • Facilitating co-creation activities
  • Analysing and reporting, presenting, and communicating research findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing support to UX’ers, Designers, and Product Owners to incorporate findings into solution development
  • Ensuring all research is conducted in an ethical and compliant manner
  • Communication with internal stakeholders is critically important for business success as the projects and activities in the department must be defined and guided by a close collaboration with many stakeholders. Therefore, it is important that you can contribute to adequate and timely information to stakeholders on developments and decisions; and build professional and social relationships across the organisation to the benefit of the work being performed in the teams. Your work will have a high degree of business impact and adaptability will be required to maximise the outcome of the conducted research. You can expect 10-15 travel days per year. This is a temporary assignment until 31 December 2024. Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
  • Educational degree in a social science field such as Anthropology, Sociology, Behavioural Psychology, Techno Anthropology, or any similar field
  • 2- 5 years’ experience and a solid understanding of User Experience (UX) and User Interfere (UI)
  • Proven track record collecting, analysing, and translating user insights into actionable recommendations
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • It is an advantage to have:
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical- and/or health industry
  • On a personal level, you are self-driven and can work independently, easily adapt to changes and collaborate with team members. You can effectively manage stakeholders and build professional relationships. About the department You will report to the Global Director of the Digital Health Product Ownership team, which is a team in Commercial Strategy and Corporate Affairs. In the team, we aim to provide patients with the best possible benefits from Novo Nordisk products by addressing unmet patient needs through Digital Health solutions. We drive and anchor the global Digital Health strategy. We own and shape the commercial development of Digital Health solutions, both internally and through partners, based on connected insulin injection pens, Continuous Glucose Monitoring / Blood Glucose Monitoring devices, and other wearables. We define go-to-market strategies for such solutions and the real-world data strategy for data collected through digital health solutions and generally function as the centre of excellence globally for Digital Health.
