Reliability engineer with focus on acoustics
You will be involved with all aspects of reliability from designing, planning, and performing environmental testing, or tests that have to do with wear and tear, chemical exposure etc. By the end of exposure tests, we undertake a thorough investigation of acoustic performance, containing key parameters such as directivity, sensitivity, and signal-to-noise ratio.
We are looking for a person that can be the subject matter expert on acoustics. Acoustics is a cornerstone in what we do, so you will play a central role in our team. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses, developing testing protocols and implementing strategies to enhance the acoustic performance and reliability of our products.

You will be working closely together with Product Quality Managers to support R&D, where you will identify potential failure points, understand the root causes of issues, and develop effective solutions. This requires a combination of analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Welcome to Team Product Reliability Engineering
You will join a team of 12 skilled engineers and technicians, where reliability throughout all phases of the product life cycle is our focus. Each of us have areas that we specialize in, that could for example be elec-trical or mechanical engineering, where your area will be acoustics. Together we cover all aspects of prod-uct reliability to ensure the highest level of reliability for our users.

Going to work, should be fun. One of the things our team is known for in Smørum, is our famous Christmas decoration spectacle, where we go all in. We even have a small unveiling happening” says Jakob with a big smile.
We are located in our product quality laboratory, equipped with the latest technology in test and analysis equipment. The team is placed in both Smørum, just outside Copenhagen and in Szczecin in Poland. You will be based in Smørum.
You in a nutshell
Acoustics is your home turf. You have probably gained your knowledge through an engineering degree focusing on electro acoustics. You could also have another engineering degree and experience with acoustical testing. Ideally you have a previous experience with of working in quality and reliability testing within the areas of mechanics and electronics. You find it interesting working with complex test setup and you like to understand and program these for optimized testing.
You are experienced working according to established quality processes and have a good documentation practice.
As a person, you are characterized by good people and communication skills. This enables you to become a highly appreciated and trustworthy partner quickly – both among your colleagues and among the many internal and external stakeholders. You have a unique ability to take work processes forward with great enthusiasm and possess superb analytical skills enabling you to break down technical issues and processes and to communicate the results in a simple and efficient way.
You are highly structured in you work and at the same time able to identify and propose things that can improve our ways of working. You are confident speaking and writing in English, as it is our company language.
