The position As Head of HR Business Partnering Project Management Office your main responsibilities will be to lead and co-drive People and Organisation priorities across the enterprise. Some of your key focus include:
  • To be a valued partner to the Executive Vice President (EVP) HR Business Partner teams by driving People and Organisation activities across a large part of the value chain of Novo Nordisk.
  • You will have a small team directly supporting you to allocate to the strategically most important initiatives.
  • To drive an effective HRBP PMO.
  • To support Human Resources Business Partner teams – as each of them works independently in their respective areas – while maintaining a focus on local needs and cross EVP area outcomes in line with overall Novo Nordisk strategy.
  • You will report directly into the Corporate Vice President and Head of P&O Research & Early Development (R&ED) and HRBP PMO. Key success is to establish a high performing project management office and effectively delivering to HRBP area priorities, working outcome focused and with scale in mind. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold a relevant academic degree (Master's preferred).
  • Have several years of experience working as a senior Human Resources Business Partner or as consultant within the P&O field and you have in-depth knowledge of the people lifecycle.
  • Have proven experience with delivering outcomes to the business as well as managing and implementing change.
  • Be able to identify, connect and prioritise different needs, ensuring specific concrete outcomes in an increasingly complex and evolving organisation.
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Your ability to think across areas and connect the dots for the end users enables you to translate business into Human Resources activities and a better organisation. You remove roadblocks ensuring strong support to execution of the business strategies. You are independent and a pragmatic executor with a solution-oriented mindset. You have high integrity, which allows you to offer your perspective respectfully. It is natural for you to bridge opinions by demonstrating good cultural understanding and solid stakeholder management ensuring good collaboration at all organisational levels. You feel comfortable in a leadership role and you are able to create followership. People want to work with you, because you drive things forward. About the Department P&O R&ED and HRBP PMO is a part of the SVP area P&O Business Partnering that consists of units that partner with the business and collaborate closely with the other functions in People & Organisation. All Human Resources Business Partners work as strategic advisors to the business and draw upon the expertise and services in the Global People and Organisation community and our functional areas (People Relations & Compliance, Training & Capability Building, Health & Safety and Strategy & Organisational Readiness), all working with and in the business.
