The position In GPOS Operations, we support Novo Nordisk's leaders and employees globally in people and organisational related matters. As Business Support Manager you will become part of the leadership team and your role will be to set direction and ensure successful execution of strategic projects that will improve operational excellence across the global function. Some of your key responsibilities include:
  • Driving creation, implementation and execution of GPOS Operations business plan
  • To create and maintain reliable demand forecast and capacity management across all services
  • Implementing and promoting operational excellence, Lean thinking and service culture across GPOS Operations
  • Being responsible for transparent performance and standardisation
  • Participating in adhoc business support activities such as business case creation and analysis
  • On top of that, you will lead a team of 2-3 people. Travel will be required to introduce, gain support for and drive improvement across the area. Meetings will be held globally with stakeholders within Novo Nordisk and externally. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold a Master degree
  • Have a strong experience in business support function that includes project- and change management, strategy execution, as well as defining and developing material for various stakeholders
  • Enjoy working with budgets and data
  • Possess strong analytical skills that allow you to identify business problems/challenges and to suggest solution scenarios to address them
  • Be able to communicate with a broad variety of stakeholders, including top management
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Having a previous experience in leadership is not a prerequisite. If you have a keen interest in developing your career towards people management, we would be happy to help you become a first-time leader. It would be considered as an advantage if you have a previous experience in Lean, continuous improvement and/or project management As a person, you are proactive, energetic as well as enthusiast and adaptable to change.
