Do you like working with analytical equipment and have GMP experience? Are you flexible, positive and quality-oriented? Are you experienced working with analytical equipment e.g. UHPLC/HPLC in a GMP environment - and do you want to be part of a central function, supporting chemical analysis and equipment in Novo Nordisk diabetes and obesity area? Then you might be the right candidate for a job as Equipment Chemist in our Analytical Competence Center. The job We are currently looking for an experienced chemist in our Analytical Equipment/CCI team which consists of 7 chemists/scientists, 4 laboratory technicians, 1 project manager and 1 associate manager. As our new equipment chemist in the Analytical Competence Centre, your main tasks will be: Setting user requirements as well as implementing requirements from authorities and Pharmacopoeias with regards to equipment, Qualification of and documentation for equipment Troubleshooting and providing support in relation to equipment, Presentation of equipment related documentation during inspections and audits As we work under GMP requirements change requests, deviations and SOP updates are a natural part of the job. Participation in cross functional projects can be relevant. Your main stakeholders will be colleagues in the department, QC sites across the world and QA. A few yearly traveling days might be expected.
Qualifications
You have a scientific academic degree such as chemical engineer, cand. pharm., cand. scient. or similar and a real interest in equipment. Furthermore, you have experience as an equipment chemist working with analytical equipment e.g. UHLPC/HPLC in a GMP environment. Experience with equipment used for CCI (Container Closure Integrity) methods such as HVLD, HeLD, Dye Ingress and Raman is a plus. You have strong communication skills both in spoken and written English, and you are able to or interested in learning to communicate in Danish. You enjoy troubleshooting, technical writing as well as providing support to others, and you thrive in a changing environment with ambitious deadlines. You have a positive attitude with a can-do mindset. Furthermore, we expect that you can work independently, are highly motivated and that your positive attitude will impact your cooperation with the team and external colleagues. About the department Analytical Competence Centre is a department in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development and consists of 60 employees organised in 4 teams. We have a central support function in relation to chemical analysis of Novo Nordisk injectable finished products under development, as well as our marketed products. We are responsible for validation of analytical methods before clinical phase 3, and on the marketed products we secure implementation of the analytical methods at our production sites across the world. We also support our colleagues globally with analytical and equipment knowledge and scientific help as well as drive optimisations. Furthermore, the department has recently started on a journey involving scouting, testing and implementing new analytical techniques to reduce the lead time for analysis with the ambitious long-term goal of real time release testing of diabetes and obesity products.
