The position We welcome a new metrology supporter with extensive experience in metrology and calibration. IFP Hillerød has been named Factory of the Future, which means that the new products from Novo Nordisk will be launched from here and our production is running 24/7. If we look a few years ahead, you have as our new metrology supporter contributed to:
  • Optimisation of the calibration process for the measuring equipment in the production
  • Optimisation of the calibration process regarding calibration standards and calibration processes
  • Insourcing of relevant calibration parameters to gain maximum flexibility in the daily work
  • Being always inspection ready
    • As we work towards this comprehensive goal, your tasks among others will include:
  • Planning of calibrations in collaboration with your team and the production
  • Together with our metrology professional support, guide and advise our skilled calibration technicians in the daily work
  • When needed helping with performing calibrations
  • Problem solving in the team on calibration problems
  • Updating relevant work instructions
  • Participate in audits and inspections
  • Advising equipment owners regarding suitable measuring equipment and calibration methods
  • Solving calibrations problems in collaboration with equipment owners in daily operations
  • Support equipment owners with metrological knowledge during handling of deviations
  • Participate and drive optimising projects within metrology
    • Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • A background as calibration technician or similar supplemented with at least 5 years working experience within metrology and calibration, or a bachelor/master's degree with experience in metrology and calibration
  • Experience with several different calibration parameters e.g., temperature, pressure, electrical parameters, flow, TOC, conductivity
  • Experience with IT systems handling calibration
  • Effective communication skills with experience of working cross functionally and building relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Fluency, spoken and written, in English. Danish will be considered highly beneficial but not a requirement
  • It will be an advantage if you have experience from an GMP environment
  • On a personal level, you are pro-active and thrive with driving tasks independently to the finish line. As you have a structured approach to your work, you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts optimally by keeping the bigger picture in mind
  • You are a team player with a good sense of humour, and you quickly build strong working relationships
    • About the department You will be a part of the dynamic and ambitious team Metrology and Maintenance. The primary two work areas are the calibration of measuring equipment and the rollout of the IT system SAP, which is used for maintenance and calibration. The calibration team consists of our metrology professional, our metrology supporter, our SAP QM supporter and 6 calibration technicians.
