Do you want to work with complex problem solving, optimization and collaboration in an ambitious GMP Environment? Do you want to make qualification and maintenance of analytical equipment? Do you want to bring our laboratory to a future state with automated processes and equipment? combined with a yes-we-can attitude. Then you may be our new equipment chemist in team equipment support. Our team consists of 5 academics, 8 lab/techs and 1 team leader. The position You will be part of a group of equipment responsible chemists with the overall responsibility of securing compliance and ready for use of the analytical equipment in the department. Our equipment consists primarily of HPLC/UPLC’s (Waters and Agilent systems), microscopes, pH-meters, balances, pipettes, fridge/freezer, temperature monitoring system (FMS), etc. As equipment chemist, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring high-quality support for the analytical team, ensuring that they can conduct the analyses needed to release our finished products in time. This includes approval of both planned and unplanned maintenance of analytical equipment, handling deviations, change requests and approval of qualifications, including the required documentation. Moreover, you will be expected to contribute to the ongoing optimization of our existing processes. This also entails being curious, about how other teams and departments work, both within and outside Novo Nordisk. In Novo Nordisk we are on a journey of digitalizing our laboratories, by introducing automated processes and connecting laboratory equipment to LIMS to support a paperless future. Qualifications
  • You hold a master in Natural Sciences, Engineering or similar, preferably with 2+ years of experience from a QC function. We are also looking forward to receiving applications from graduates with relevant professional experience
  • You are strong in GMP and have an adequate quality mindset, where you know, what is expected from the authorities
  • You have good command of both spoken and written Danish and English
  • You enjoy providing support to others, and you thrive in a changing environment with ambitious deadlines
    • It is a great advantage, if:
  • you are experienced in equipment qualification, as well as you are familiar with the requirements for running analytical equipment
  • you are experienced with the LIMS systems and have managed data in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
  • experience with microscopy, preferably with validation experience

You are a strong communicator, with a constructive way of having a good relationship with your colleagues. Finally, you find it natural to be proactive. About the department The chemical QC is a department in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development, which consists of 53 employees, organized in 3 teams. We are physically placed in Bagsværd 14 km from Copenhagen. The department handles a wide variety of chemical analysis on diabetes finished products (primarily HPLC/UPLC), covering release, ID, stability, validation, and customer complaint samples.
