The position The project you will be working on is of great strategic importance to Novo Nordisk and will have high visibility and support from Senior Management. We expect you to be a present, accessible, and supportive leader who encourages and motivates fellow employees to perform their roles. You will be the overall work package owner for automation, and you will therefore prioritize and set the direction within this work package. Furthermore, you will be coaching and mentoring employees in developing new competencies and will be attracting, hiring, and onboarding new colleagues. You will be located in Kalundborg, in close proximity to the manufacturing sites and as a lot of our collaboration partners are located in the Copenhagen area you should also expect work in those locations. Qualifications We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills and experiences: Experience as team leader/people manager (preferably in automation or IT) MSc or similar graduate degree in a relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration) Experience with automation project implementations preferably in production areas Used to working with different cultures Used to working in a complex vendor setup On a personal level, you have strong people and project management skills and a natural ability to engage your stakeholders. You are ambitious, empathic, and engaging, as you will need to set direction, motivate and cultivate high performance and engagement through the empowerment of the team.
