What’s in it for you?
As a Senior Security Software Engineer, you will be collaborating with multiple development teams, to guide them on how to best develop secure cloud infrastructure and application code, while respecting the variations of each domain. Our teams work with both web and mobile frontends and .Net and Python backends. This role requires you to develop secured cloud infrastructure and applications while contributing to extract and share best practices for software security across our development teams. In addition, you will drive development and adoption of a Secure Software Development Life Cycle in collaboration with Novo Nordisk IT Security.
As a Senior Security Software Engineer, we expect you to: Collaborate with developers on how to best secure scalable, reliable cloud solutions and develop secure cloud native software applications Drive and facilitate code review and threat modelling sessions with development teams Design and implement standards for security testing, evaluating security development tools, frameworks and methodologies Communicate value and benefits of secure coding practices to stakeholders, articulate DII’s security strategy Aligning cloud architecture efforts with IT Security and regulatory quality assurance Which competencies to bring?
We imagine you have a Software Engineering background or other relevant field with a passion in security domain.
Likewise, we believe you are able to tick most of the following boxes: 5+ years’ experience with Cloud Security, Azure and/or AWS including security options/hardening of PaaS Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CCSP or knowledge and experience equivalent to these certifications. Experience with C# / .Net or Python building API driven architectures and microservices Experience with OWASP, Mend.IO, VeraCode, Synopsys etc. as tools to support AppSec as well as security implementations for web and mobile solutions CI/CD Pipelines and continuous automated security validation As a person you pragmatic and passionate about making it easy to create secure software. You are open minded and actively listen to new ideas and approached for security, but you are also comfortable communicating effectively even in the face of resistance. The team waiting for you
The Digital Foundation department is an organisation of senior specialists, that share a passion to professionalize software engineering practices. Our department is a part of Digital Incubation & Innovation (DII), which is the area responsible for developing digital solutions to all global business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S, and spans Digital Accelerator, Digital Health IT, Commercial IT Project Execution and Business Innovation Garage.
Using cutting-edge methodologies, technologies, security and cloud computing, we aim to support and improve the development teams that build internal solutions as well as for pharmaceutical delivery to people living with diabetes or other chronic diseases, and their healthcare professionals. You will join a dynamic, international, innovative environment, where highly skilled professionals work closely together to develop software from internal process optimization, to Software as a Medical Device for Novo Nordisk A/S.
