As our new specialist in Automation & IT, you will play a prominent role in AP Expansions where you will be part of building production facilities for the future of Novo Nordisk. You will also be part of a group responsible for advancing the use of new innovative and existing technologies. A main task in the program will be working closely with the different key stakeholders both in Novo Nordisk and suppliers to create a simple and scalable Aveva PI solution. You will collaborate with Automation Specialists, Domain Architects, and different process-responsible stakeholders to assess requirements and rightly influence the design. You will have an active and strong voice amongst a network of automation specialists and architects. You will gain a broad network across stakeholders from DD&IT, Global IT, PS sites, process, and engineering responsible in addition to multiple suppliers involved. Some travel activity is to be expected. Qualifications
• You hold a master, bachelor, or technician’s degree in automation or/and IT
• You have at least five years of technical experience in the automation/production industry.
• You have extensive experience with the Aveva PI product and experience several of the following technologies: data architecture, PCS, IOT, PLC, and Industry 4.0. Project management skills are not a need but will be an advantage.
• You have a solid understanding of IT/Automation architecture and IT/Automation solutions within a production environment, and you have solid experience working in a GMP-regulated industry environment from previous jobs. As a person, you work effectively with a natural respect based on your technical skills. Your structural approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while maintaining an eye for the details. You communicate effectively while also securing adherence to technical quality standards. You work independently, and effectively while securing your tasks are completed and must be an excellent teammate and have strong abilities to participate in project teams. You thrive in an environment where new challenges and focus can change quickly, but always with the overall common goal in mind. About the department
DD&IT PS – Fill & Finish Expansions is a program organization - built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure, that’s designed to foster cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future.
Our goal is to design and build future-proof, global fill & finish production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve.
