x Do you want to play a central role in finance partnering for a manufacturing site with both marketed and clinical production? Would you like to gain insight into the business drivers for a production site and would you like to develop your skills in communicating finance to stakeholder with a non-financial background? Then you might be our new finance partner. About the department You will be part of Injectable Finished Products, Bagsværd (IFP BA), which is an aseptic production facility with approx. 800 employees producing diabetes and obesity products for patients around the world – both for market but also for clinical trials. You will work in Supply Chain, Finance and Procurement, a team of 12 colleagues anchored in business support. The team manages all operational and capacity planning, finance and procurement partnering at the site. You will get to work with many stakeholders both within the manufacturing site but also our colleagues in the central finance organisation, and other production sites in Novo Nordisk network. You will join a diverse and high-performing team with different experience levels. We have an informal working environment, where we work together and support each other, but most important we have fun and value a good sense of humour. About the Position 2 finance partners cover the overall finance responsibility, and you will share the responsibility with your colleague. The team has the full P&L responsibility for the site (FTE, cap cost, process unit costs)
  • Drive budget process (AB, RE and LE). You will facilitate the budget process to ensure resources are allocated to business priorities and all areas are pushing for stretched optimization ambitions. This requires curiosity about the business to both understand needs for additional funding and where there is a need for additional actions to succeed with the budget. This also requires good stakeholder management, communication skills and an ability to run a complex process with many sub-deliverables.

  • Monthly budget follow-up incl. compliance with accounting rules. This includes monthly meetings with production departments, preparation of monthly management review (MMR) for site, and timely communication to central finance

  • Ensure insights and transparency into the cost base: To enable line of business to manage spend efficiently it is essential to have strong insights into how the money is spent. This requires strong analytical skills and preferably knowledge about digital tools for visualization (business intelligence).

  • Internal and external processes required to facilitate accurate production accounting (raw material deviations, production variances and inventory adjustments)

  • Drive the cost optimisation agenda: Support management by facilitating discussions and workshops on how to optimise the cost base, bring analysis and external perspective on opportunities and help set the financial direction for the site. You can also be expected to drive various optimisation initiatives, e.g., scrap reduction. To succeed in this, you need to be able to interact with senior management and bring a consultancyt mind-set on how to facilitate change.

    • Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, you possess:
  • Financial background with a master's degree within Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

  • Good understanding of financial management and controlling

  • Previous experience with budgeting, monthly reporting processes and with key reporting tools (e.g. SAP, PowerBI, etc.) is an advantage, but not a requirement

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential

  • Proficiency in both oral and written English and preferably also substantial Danish skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate finance to people with non-financial background
